Set in Tolkein’s iconic fantasy land Middle Earth, The Lord of The Rings Online is a MMORPG where players can create their own character using four races and seven classes and follow an adventure through Tolkein’s imaginary world. Characters gain levels by earning experience points by defeating enemies and completing special quests. Lord of The Rings Online originally launched on Microsfot Windows and OS X and later in September 2010 was converted into a Free2Play model online. The currency in this version of Middle Earth is LOTRO Gold. Use it to buy items at the auction house including weapons, armour, potions and food.
